Notices

Notices communicate relevant information within GESCON and can link a conversation, documents, routes, or knowledge. Creating them requires Notices Read Write.

Inbox

The tabs separate unread notices, read notices, notices sent by you, and all available notices. You can search and filter by creator, source, or date.

Opening a notice shows the message, author, recipients, and linked content. The notice is marked as read when opened.

Creating a notice

Select New notice, or start the action from a chat, document, route, or knowledge entry. Complete the side panel:

  1. Information: required title and message.
  2. Content: attach the conversation or resource providing context.
  3. Recipients: send it to the entire organization or select specific groups and people.

Review recipients before sending. A notice may expose information that not everyone normally receives through other channels.

Best practices

  • Use a title that makes the urgency and topic clear.
  • Summarize the expected action in the first lines.
  • Link the original resource instead of copying a version that may become outdated.
  • Avoid organization-wide notices when only one group is affected.
