Groups

Groups define teams of users and help limit access to agents, sources, folders, routes, skills, and integrations. In the profile menu, open Users > Groups.

Creating or editing a group

The form contains:

  1. Data: name and description.
  2. Members: users in the group.
  3. Agents: the default agent for the group, when configured.

The group's default agent takes precedence over the organization-wide value for its members.

Designing useful groups

  • Represent real teams or access needs, not every possible permission combination.
  • Keep names stable and descriptions clear.
  • Review sources, routes, and agents before removing members.
  • Do not use a group as a substitute for a role: a group limits resources, while a role grants actions.

Deleting a group may immediately change the content its members can access. Review its dependencies first.
