SQL

SQL sources let an agent query authorized database tables. Always use a dedicated read-only account limited to the required schemas.

Available engines

PostgreSQL

Select PostgreSQL and enter the host, port, database, username, password, and SSL options required by the server.

Microsoft SQL Server

Select Microsoft SQL Server and enter the server, port, database, and credentials for an account with read permissions.

MySQL

Select MySQL and enter the host, port, database, and credentials. Enable SSL when required by the server.

MariaDB

Select MariaDB and enter the connection details for the server and database you want to use.

Oracle

Select Oracle and enter the host, port, username, and service identifier requested by the form.

Snowflake

Snowflake supports passwords and OAuth, as well as parameters such as schema, warehouse, and role. See the Snowflake guide for more details.

Creating and limiting a connection

  1. Open Settings > Data > SQL and select Add SQL.
  2. Select the engine, complete the connection details, and validate it.
  3. Select only the tables the agents need.
  4. Save it and assign it to an agent to test a representative query.

If the database restricts network access, ask the NurIA Labs team for the current outbound connection details before configuring an IP allowlist.
