Jira connects the Jira Cloud sites available to the account and lets GESCON query or maintain issues.

Connecting

1. The organization enables Jira and grants access to the appropriate users.
2. Open Profile > Integrations and select Connect.
3. Authorize the Atlassian account and choose the site when prompted.
4. Confirm the Connected state.

GESCON must find at least one accessible Jira site. If none appears, check access in Atlassian.

What it can do

• List sites, projects, issue types, sprints, and epics.
• Search and read issues.
• Create and edit issues.
• Add comments.

Examples

Find open high-priority issues in project WEB and summarize the blockers.

Create a bug in WEB with the title "Error exporting PDF" and this description.

Add a comment to WEB-142 with the investigation summary.

Always check the project and issue key before a write operation.
