Slack connects a workspace through its MCP server. The available tools depend on the installed application and the selection made in GESCON.

Preparing the organization

1. Open Settings > Integrations > Slack > Configure.
2. Use Add to Slack to install the GESCON application in the correct workspace.
3. Enable the integration and grant access to the entire organization or to specific users and groups.

Connecting personal accounts

1. Open Profile > Integrations and select Connect in Slack.
2. Authorize the OAuth connection in the workspace.
3. When the tools appear, keep only those you need selected.
4. Save and check the Connected state.

What it can do

Available actions come from the MCP server and may change. Review each tool description before enabling it; tools generally include message and channel queries and operations supported by the installed application.

Examples

Summarize today's activity in the launch channel and extract blockers.

Find recent messages about the payment incident.

Do not schedule write operations until you have tested them manually and confirmed the destination channel.
